Serenity was standing in the clearing as she watched her men guard the sealing place of one of the Odin Mages. Her white eyes stayed on them as her wings where folded behind her. It was strange really, she had just become the ruler and already she had found that she liked the man who had helped to swear her in. She shook her head some, now was not the time to deal with that. You had to stay on topic here and she would do just that. Her soilder's were good, probably the best warriors around even though her people would rather talk things over than fight with one another. A wind blew her light blue around around in its pony-tail. she was wearing black pants and a corset top, but there was armor over it and a silver cape was around her shoulders, a hood hid her face as well. One of the soilders walked up to her. "M'lady. There is no need for you to be here." She turned her eyes to look at him and she smiled at him softly. "Diego I know that you are worried about me, but I am able to take care of myself you know that." She placed a hand on his shoulder and continued to smile at him. "There is no reason for you to be worried about me, you have seen me fight." He nodded his head and smiled at her. "Yes I have M'lady. Although is doesn't exactly help when I'm worried sick about you." Serenity couldn't help but laugh and so did Diego. She leaned her forehead on his. "Diego, you've been there for me for a long time. I know that you would be there to protect me, but go check on your soilders. I will be fine, I promise." He nodded and walk off slowly glancing back at her before talking to his soilders. Serenity shook her head some as she crossed her arms under her cape and stood there watching them. Maybe she didn't need to be here, she would wait a few more minutes and if nothing happened then she would head back to the castle to see what is going on there because she might be able to be more help there than she is here.

Searching.
Dusk was falling, gently; layers of colored silk scarves drifting down from the heavens and silently covering the landscape, each one piling up on top of the previous cloth. Kátherine knew the pattern as a child knows her mother's lullaby. First pink, then orange, red, violet, more dark hues, darker and darker still until the firmament was a complete and total ebony, save for the stars of course. At this moment the celestial dome that surrounded the planet was just entering the pink stage. The sky was blushing slightly, the color of a virgin rose as modest as a maiden, with the thin wisps of cloud just a shade deeper. They drifted along lazily, as there wasn't much for wind this eve. The hoodéd lady let a small smile grace her features, though it was hidden in the dark of her smokewashéd garment. Life was beautiful, and she enjoyed the more insignificant sights like this a great deal.
However, that didn't cause the dame to forget she was on a mission. It probably would've been easier for the queen to have sent a spy, a hunter, a page, anything other than her recognizable self. The war was over, but the hurt feelings were far from; Kátherine could say that truthfully and from personal experience. The pallid femme was still very bitter about it all, and that was the reason she was snooping around this night; hunched over in a thick cloak, worn, leather gloves to hide her hands and a rod to keep her balance as she transversed, stooped, in this uncomfortable position. It would be false to say the female wasn't at least a bit...concerned for her health. Then again, it was a time of peace. What was the worst they could do to her?
The albino was searching for two things: ways to free the rumored Odin Mages she'd been hearing about and ways to rejoin her domain with the Foncotarian empire. Her people, the Pyronians, had been shamefully defeated. In fact, Ká's top battle commander and good friend Eleazar had committed suicide after the peace treaty, Zin, Volcos and Queno rest his soul. He was a good man; strong, seasoned and determined. Lady Kátherine felt badly that she hadn't been able to win the war, for his sake at least. Her kingdom was falling apart. The pale femmora knew she alone could not rebuild it, could not reunite it. She would need her old friend Jocelyn's aid.
Whilst pondering all these items, in both her head and her heart, the disguised woman came across a group of men, soldiers probably, guarding a large, stone building. This struck Kátherine as odd. Why would such a structure, built of hearty rock, be sentenced to live a lonely life in the midst of this grand forest? And why would there be so many souls to protect it? It must hold something of value. An Odin Mage, perhaps? Ká was hopefully.
She limped over to where a man and young woman were standing, a bit apart from the others and away from the action. Kátherine relied heavily upon her walking stick, and with the shadows the sun's absence was creating combined with her thick cloak, she looked exactly like an old hag. She had the voice down as well.
"Sweet child," croaked she, addressing the female, as she approached the two figures slowly from behind, her voice a raspy autumn wind.
"Tell dear Grandmother, and speak true: what are all these men here? Have I reached the market at last?"
